Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A.  Purchases can be paid for using credit cards issued by MasterCard, VISA, American Express, or Discover, payable in USD and issued by an USA bank through PayPal.

Q.  Will you ship Internationally?
A.  No, there is required paperwork and various regulations in reqards to International shipments. We will gladly ship to the contiguous 48 states, and to Alaska and Hawaii, but NOT to International destinations including Puerto Rico, APO, FPO, Guam, and US Territories.

Q.  How do you handle backorders?
A.  We will use our best judgement to this situation. Our Rule of Thumb is as follows. If the backordered item is expected within 1 week, the shipment will be held to ship complete. If the backordered item is expected in 2-3 weeks, the partial shipment will be made immediately and the customer will be sent an e-mail asking whether they want to cancel the backorder to receive a refund for the unshipped item and applicable freight charge.

Q.  What is your Warranty policy?
A.  Tactical Knives and More’s warranty is that we will do whatever we can to have a satisfied customer. Seriously, the specific manufacturers issue their warranties and they will need to be contacted based on their written warranty policy. Defective products returned directly to us will not receive warranty service and will be refused, or discarded, at our discretion.

Q.  Do you have a return policy?
A.  Request an RA# by e-mail, or fax, within 15 calendar days of receipt and we will authorize the return, freight prepaid with insurance, per our RA instructions. Products returned where the FREE FREIGHT applied will be assessed a 15% restocking charge against the return credit. The claims for items incurring in-transit damage are described on the SHIPPING policies page, Returns, 2) & 4). In this circumstance the offending freight carrier must be notified immediately about the in-transit damage.

Q.  How do you calculate the shipping charges?
A.  Our warehouses are located in California and Missouri. Freight charged will be based on the table reflected on the SHIPPING policies page.  It is derived from the rate we pay along with a small handing charge to pay for the insurance and cartons. 

Q.  Is my credit card information secure on your website?
A.  Your credit card information is technically not provided to our website. During the payment process you are redirected to our credit card processor, ECI-Pay, and the security of the information to and from their website is encrypted using up-to-date SSL encryption protocols. All user payment information is stored by ECI-Pay in secure databases protected by a variety of access controls and encryption of sensitive information.
