GENERAL:

At Tactical Knives and More we aim to provide excellent customer service. The products that we offer are precision tools that are manufactured to satisfy its selected purpose. As with any hand tool, these products should only be used according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, wearing safety glasses where applicable.

Any use contrary to its intended purpose may subject the user to potential personal injury. For this reason, we do not sell or encourage sales to persons under 18. Please be aware that by submitting your credit card for payment, you are agreeing that you are 18 or over and will provide the appropriate supervision during the use of these products where persons under 18 are involved.

SHIPPING:

Our goal is to ship all products within 5 days of receipt of your order. Unless you choose a different method, all shipments will be made via UPS Ground or USPS to your physical address. Please note that UPS charges $10 for correcting an incorrect address. The customer will be charged this extra freight to their credit card, if applicable. We ship all our products including insurance. Any shipping damages must be noted at time of receipt.

Shipments will only be made to the billing address for the credit card used, or for PayPal payment transactions, only to one of the Confirmed addresses.

There are restrictions and paperwork placed on us by Customs Regulations as to where we can ship these products. For this reason, Tactical Knives and More has chosen not to ship to any International destinations, including Puerto Rico, APO or FPO addresses. We will only be able to ship to the contiguous 48 states and to Alaska and Hawaii at the higher shipping cost as noted below.

Shipments into Connecticut will be charged the 6% state sales tax. 

SHIPPING CHARGES:   

Standard Ground Shipment Charges for the Continental US will be based on Order Amount.  Choice of shipment by USPS vs. UPS will be at our descretion.  Special freight pricing will over-ride the shipping charges shown in the table below.  

Shipping cost to Alaska will be $20.00 on USPS shipments on orders under $100, and $25.00 on USPS shipments over $100.

Shipping cost to Hawaii will be $40.00 on USPS shipments on orders under $100, and $45.00 on USPS shipments over $100.

BACKORDERS:

It is our goal to ship all orders complete to minimize the freight expense. With the number of products that we offer some items may be temporarily out of stock. All prices on backordered items will be billed at the price in effect at time of order. Since we stock our inventory in warehouses in various parts of the country, the freight cost to our customers will be calculated as if the shipment is from one warehouse and shipped in one shipment. If your order is fulfilled in a different manner, Tactical Knives and More will absorb the additional freight cost.

RETURNS:

Due to the nature of the products we sell, most returns will need to be returned to an address different then the one on our CONTACT US page. A Return Authorization Number (RA#) must be requested within 15 days, by fax or e-mail, so correct return instructions can be provided. At Tactical Knives and More we will accept returns under the following conditions:

0. The packaging is unopened, or unused, with all original packaging, in the same condition as received.
0. A RA# is requested in a fax to 1-800-459-9962, or e-mail to contact@TacticalKnivesAndMore.com within 15 calendar days of receipt. Time is of the essence.

Documentation Required:

0. A cover sheet that explains the reason for the RA# request.
0. A copy of the packing slip of the item.
0. Return instructions will be provided by return fax or e-mail along with the RA#. All Returns must be made to the address specified in the RA, freight prepaid. Under no circumstances should items be returned to us at our N. Branford, CT address. On inspection of the returned item a credit will be made to the customer’s credit card for the price charged for the item. No credit will made for the freight charged unless the item is being returned due to a shipping mistake by the Tactical Knives and More.
0. Items damaged in transit will follow the same instructions as 2) above with the additional documentation. If there is visible damage, it is critical that the carrier be informed at time of delivery and that paperwork is also faxed or e-mailed with the RA# request. If the damage is concealed, or the delivery by the carrier was not signed for, the carrier must be called immediately and be informed of the damage, which may require their inspection. Failure to notify the carrier immediately will cancel our ability to submit a damage claim, causing the customer to receive no credit for the damaged item.

WARRANTY

All warranties for items purchased from Tactical Knives and More are issued by the applicable manufacturer. For all warranty claims you will need to contact them as instructed in their paperwork. There are no other warranties, either expressed or implied, except those described by the manufacturer. I do warrant that I will assist as necessary to obtain favorable resolution.

SECURITY:

Our credit card transactions are made through PayPal, or ECI-Pay, a credit card processor that has been providing Internet credit card processing services for over 6 years and for 16,000 merchants worldwide. The security of the information in transit to and from their website is encrypted using up-to-date SSL encryption protocols. All user payment information is stored by ECI-Pay in secure databases protected by a variety of access controls and encryption of sensitive information.
